This Terms and Conditions Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the Mailife mobile application, website (mailifeapp.com), and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This is a legally binding contract between you ("you," "User") and Mailife ("we," "us," "our").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you are acting on behalf of an entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.

1. Account Registration & Responsibilities

  • You must create an account to access certain features.
  • You are responsible for maintaining your account's security and confidentiality.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of unauthorized use or breach.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms.

2. User Content

  • You retain ownership of content (e.g., health logs, images) you submit.
  • You grant Mailife a limited license to use your content solely to deliver and improve the Services.
  • We may monitor or remove content that violates laws or this Agreement.

3. Data Backup

  • You are solely responsible for backing up your data.
  • While we may retain backup copies, we do not guarantee data recovery.

4. Third-Party Links

  • Mailife may link to third-party websites or apps.
  • We are not responsible for their content, security, or practices.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Violate any local or international laws
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Harass, harm, or discriminate against others
  • Misrepresent or impersonate another person
  • Use the Services for spamming or scraping

Mailife reserves the right to suspend accounts for abuse or violations.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content, trademarks, and technology related to Mailife are our property or licensed to us.
  • This Agreement grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services.
  • You may not reproduce, copy, or resell any part of our intellectual property without prior consent.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mailife and its team from any claims or damages arising from:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your violation of these terms
  • Your submitted content

8. Reporting and Terminating Connections

Mailife provides mechanisms for users to manage their professional connections and report inappropriate behavior.

  • Reporting Violations: If you encounter a user or healthcare provider who violates these terms (e.g., abusive behavior, harassment, or inappropriate content), you must report it immediately using the in-app "Report" feature. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours and takes appropriate action, including suspending or banning the offending account.
  • Discontinuing Communication (Blocking): You have full control over your digital relationships.

For Users/Patients: You may terminate your connection with a healthcare provider at any time by selecting "Unsubscribe" or "Stop Sharing" within the provider's profile or your settings. This action immediately revokes their access to your health data and prevents them from sending you further messages.

For Providers: You may remove a patient from your practice list at any time. This will cease all data synchronization and communication with that specific user.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Mailife provides its Services "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services (if any) within the past 12 months.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of Egypt.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Egypt.
  • You waive the right to a jury trial and agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of Egyptian courts.

11. Modifications to Terms

  • We may update this Agreement at any time.
  • We will notify you via the app, website, or your registered email.
  • Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the new terms.

12. Termination

  • You may stop using the Services at any time.
  • We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach this Agreement.
